The Inside Story is pleased to present entries and winners in our photo contest, "October in the Annapolis Valley". We were amazed at the geographic coverage of the entries -- from Granville Ferry to Windsor. This turned out to be more difficult to judge than expected. We really liked all the photographs. Unlike a race or a throwing event, where it is easy to pick a winner, photo contests are more judgemental. There really is no clear winner. I would not be discouraged if your photo was not a winning entry. We applaud the fact you took time out of your life to enjoy and record nature in print/digital form, and to share them with us. For those we selected to win prizes we felt, in our eyes, they best represented the theme of the contest, their quality/presentation was brilliant. In cases where it was very difficult to separate a better entry based on the photo alone we went with the more passionate description of the photo.

In addition to our website postings, we plan to display entries in our Greenwood bookstore. So come by in a week or so to view them, live. For those of you who sent prints we will have them available for pickup as well.
