The Inside Story is
pleased to present entries and winners in our photo contest, "Winter in Southwest Nova Scotia ". As in our Fall Photo Contest, geographic coverage of
the entries was broad-- from Granville Ferry to Windsor. I congratulate those who took a breathe of winter air and recorded our winter in the valley and along the shore. Entries were terrific. I love looking at these images but hate having to judge them. The photo description weighed into consideration of my judging, especially where it was
very difficult to separate a better entry based on the photo alone.
I went with the more passionate
description of the photo.
In addition to our website postings, we plan to display entries in our
Greenwood bookstore. So come by in a week or so to view them, live. For
those of you who sent prints we will have them available for pickup as
well at month's end.
We invite your feedback, comments and suggestions on this contest. Email
theinsidestory@gmail.com or send us mail to: The Inside Story, PO
Box 1775 Greenwood NS Canada. B0P 1N0.
I thank all of you for entering our second photo contest. Are you ready for a summer contest? Let me know.
Cheers
Edward Wedler, The Inside Story

Fewer entries were submitted for our winter photo contest though we have both returning photographers plus some newcomers. Our judge polled four different, independent assistants and ALL picked different photos as their favourites. So you see, it's not easy. In fact, there are no real "winners". There are "favourites". A few of the photographs are absolutely outstanding, so keep snapping and be creative. We invite you and your family/friends to join us for a summer photo contest. If you have a category to suggest for that summer contest please email: theinsidestory@gmail.com.
